Trent J. Swift has focused his legal career in litigation and advocacy. Before joining Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath, Mr. Swift was affiliated with a general practice litigation firm.  His focus  was in the areas of complex commercial litigation and civil litigation. Mr. Swift’s experience has resulted in numerous verdicts and confidential settlements for his client’s benefit.

Trent earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from New York University and his  law degree from New York Law School.  While in law school, Trent was a research assistant engaging with NGO’s throughout Asia in raising awareness to human rights and ways to effectuate change aimed towards preventing human rights violations.

Trent’s ties to Palm Beach County date back three generations. Trent and his wife Jessica are deeply involved and engaged in philanthropic efforts throughout Palm Beach County.  Organizations that have benefitted from the Swift’s efforts include the Palm Beach 211 Helpline, the Alexander Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, the Palm Beach Symphony, the American Heart Association, the Hanley Foundation, and the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Mr. Swift started his law career as a clerk for Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath upon graduation from law school, and was also a client of the firm in a medical malpractice action in the late 1990’s.
